Course Aims

To obtain Level 2 IWCF Certification in Well Intervention Pressure Control

  • Completions
  • Principles & Procedures
  • Barrier Theory
  • Wire line
  • Coiled Tubing
  • Snubbing
  • All candidates must sit examinations in Completions and Principles and Procedures, plus at least one topic from Wire line, Coiled Tubing or Snubbing

Competency Assessment

Written examinations set and invigilated by the IWCF

Delivery

Teaching aids, PowerPoint presentation, videos, practical demonstrations.

Certification

Provided by the IWCF on successful passing of examination

Minimum Instructor Qualification/Experience

Must have passed the IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control examinations in all five subjects at 90% or more at least every two years
