To provide a safe procedure for isolation of interconnected distribution systems and to enable participants to determine standing load versus generation capability to maintain stability of the network.

- Protection Systems Overview
Delivery
Classroom and ‘live’ power switching network and network simulation.
Certification
City & Guilds 0672 Certificate on successful completion of the following assessments: D001 HV/LV (1) Assessment D002 HV/LV (2) Assessment D003 Questions.
Minimum Instructor Qualification/Experience
- 5 years’ experience in electrical plant operations
- Qualified to Authorised Electrical Person status
- Presentation skills
- A1 Workplace Assessor.
