To provide a safe procedure for isolation of interconnected distribution systems and to enable participants to determine standing load versus generation capability to maintain stability of the network.

Delivery

Classroom and ‘live’ power switching network and network simulation.

Certification

City & Guilds 0672 Certificate on successful completion of the following assessments: D001 HV/LV (1) Assessment D002 HV/LV (2) Assessment D003 Questions.

Minimum Instructor Qualification/Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in electrical plant operations
  • Qualified to Authorised Electrical Person status
  • Presentation skills
  • A1 Workplace Assessor.
