To introduce participants to the theoretical and practical considerations for safely moving a Jack-Up unit from one location to another.

  • History and types of units
  • Elevated operations
  • Management of operations
  • Stability and marine operations
  • Foundations and elevated operations
  • Rig moving practice (wet and dry transport)
  • Accidents and losses
  • Simulated exercises.

 

Delivery

Classroom and unique high fidelity simulator using the latest technology linked to hydraulically actuated motion, providing exceptional realism to practical training, including dynamic experience of ‘Punch-Through’.

 

Certification

ASET Certificate internationally recognized by the offshore industry.

 

Minimum Instructor Qualification/Experience

Class 1 (Master Mariner) or Class 2 with Jack-Up experience.

 

Min/Max Number of Delegates Required per Event

2/8.
