Why ASET?
We offer quality training courses every week at our new training centre in Aberdeen delivered by approved and accredited trainers.
We are extremely proud of the customised service that we offer to every one of our clients, if we don't have a course running we will do our level best to source an alternative date for you.
Course Information
Are all your Trainers approved/accredited to teach the courses?
Yes, we only use approved and accredited trainers/assessors to conduct training courses. Our trainers and training centre are monitored and audited by the following awarding bodies OPITO, IOSH, NEBOSH, ECITB, City and Guilds or SQA.
Who issues my certificate after I attend a training course?
Provided you successfully complete your training course, your certificate(s) will be forwarded from ASET to your office or home at a later date.
How long will it take before my certificate arrives?
For non–examined courses your certificate will arrive at your premises approximately two weeks after successful completion of the course. If you have attended a training course accredited by an awarding body you can expect your certificate to take up to eight weeks to arrive.
Please note: Certificates are only issued after payment has been made in full.
I want to know if a training course is available — what is the best way to do it?
The easiest way to enquire about the availability of a course is to place a booking. Our automated booking system will instantly advise you if the course is available, if spaces are available, you will be provisionally booked onto the course at this stage. You can cancel your booking at no cost at this stage.

Booking Information
How do I book a course with ASET?
You can book your training course via this website or by calling our office. When you place your booking via this website our automated booking system provisionally books a place on the training course of your choice. We will then contact you on the same day (if you book before 4pm) or the next day to confirm your booking
Please note: You will not be asked to pay for your course at the time of booking.
I am booking the training course for someone else, whos name do I register it in?
The majority of our courses are booked by companies for employees. In this case please register the company name and contact details with your name and telephone number, you will be asked for the delegate's name and date of birth during the booking.
Payment
How do I pay for my training course?
For your convenience we offer several ways to pay for your training course, you can pay by cheque, BACS (Fund Transfer) or by credit/debit card. To pay by BACS please Contact Us for our bank details.
When do I have to pay for my training course?
An invoice will be raised for every confirmed booking made. An invoice sent to a business can be paid by credit/debit card cheque or BACS, full payment should be returned within 14 days of the invoice date. If a booking is made in the name of an individual and not a business, payment can be accepted over the telephone by debit/credit card prior to the course commencing.
Do you offer credit or government funding?
Unfortunately we do not offer credit for training courses, we don't deal directly with the government for funding training courses but if they offer you a training grant and they can pay us directly we may be able to deal with them on your behalf, Contact Us to find out more.
Cancellations
Can I cancel a booking?
Places on ASET Training courses are limited so we therefore operate a cancellation policy:
- No Cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations received in writing more than ten days prior to course commencing.
- Cancellations made with 10 and 6 days prior to the course commencing will be subject to a charge of 50% of the course fee.
- Cancellations made less than 5 days prior to course commencing will be subject to a charge of 100% of the course fee.
Can I change the date that I am booked onto the course?
Transfer, The Customer may transfer a delegate (subject to availability) to another training Course on one occasion only up to 48 hours prior to the course commencing, this must be notified in writing and the transfer date must be within three months of the original course date.
What if my course is cancelled?
In the event of cancellation of a training course by ASET, we will endeavour to inform all Customers two weeks prior to course commencement date, although please note that this is not always possible. All Course fees paid will be reimbursed in full, but we are unable to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred.
